Michael and Sharon Oliva—rez -4- October 24, 2011 <br /> Recommendation <br /> June 2008, the Fund recommends that the San Joaquin County LOP direct the Responsible <br /> Party to assess alternate groundwater technologies that may achieve Water Quality Objectives <br /> more rapidly. The Fund will review this site next year to track progress. <br /> UPDATED, June 2009, his investigation has been underway for 16 years. Though the <br /> groundwater plume is being maintained, groundwater extraction at this site has not been a cost <br /> effective treatment technology. The Fund recommends that the San Joaquin County LOP direct <br /> the Responsible Party to assess alternate groundwater technologies to more rapidly achieve <br /> Water Quality Objectives. The Fund will review this site next year to track progress. <br /> UPDATED, June 2010, the Fund recommends that the San Joaquin County LOP require that <br /> the Responsible Party assess and implement an alternate groundwater remediation technology <br /> to achieve Water Quality Objectives more rapidly. The requirement to conduct corrective action <br /> is independent of Fund approval or disbursement of monies, The Fund will review this site next <br /> year to track progress. <br /> UPDATED, October 2011, by 5 May 2011 letter, the San Joaquin County LOP directed the <br /> Responsible Party to resume active remediation. The Fund concurs that additional remediation <br /> is necessary to further reduce hydrocarbon mass and achieve water quality objectives in a <br /> timely manner, <br /> KW'k Laron, P.G.
