Michael and Sharon Olivarez RECE8YED
540 West Scoffs Avenue SEP o 1 2009
Stockton, CA 95203
ENVIRONMENT HEALTH
August 24, 2009 PERMIT/SERVICES
Sent via U.S. MAIL
Mr. Michael Infurna
San Joaquin County Public Health Service
Environmental Health Department
600 East Main Street
Stockton, CA 95202-3029
Subject: 300 South California Street
Site Code #1038
Global ID #70607700605
Dear Mr. Infurna:
REQUEST FOR WORK PLAN TIME EXTENSION III
My intention is to comply with your request for additional monitoring wells to
further delineate the plume at 300 South California Street. EHD's letter of July 7,
2009 gave a second deadline extension to September 7th for a new work plan. I
am in need of an additional two month extension of the new September 7th
deadline.
My $75,000 line of credit is still exhausted and I still have $18,660 in aging billings
from Foothill Engineering. I need to receive additional funds from the LIST Fund
before I can hire Foothill Engineering to produce the work plan. The LIST Fund
has given me notice that $25,973 for Reimbursement #29 will be paid "after
August 2009". These monies will allow me to make Foothill Engineering current
and have $7,313 available for the September monitoring of MW-1, NAW-1 R and
MW-8S per EHD's request of March 5, 2009. If there are sufficient funds
remaining I can hire Foothill Engineering to provide the new monitoring well work
plan.
The LIST Fund has approved my Reimbursement Request #30 for $28,283 but has
not given any indication of when if will be paid. The UST Fund has not
responded to my Reimbursement Request #31 for $15,210.
Please allow for an additional two month extension. If there are any questions
please call (209) 481-5360.
Thank you,
