13 September 2012
AGE-NC Project No.99-0682
Page 4 of 17
Samples were submitted to Cal-Tech Environmental Laboratories(CTEL)forthe following
constituents.
• Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline and diesel(TPH-g and TPH-d)
by EPA method 8015 modified;
• Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes (BTEX) by EPA method 8260B;
• Volatile organic compounds by EPA method 826013;
• Inorganic ions bromate, bromide, chloride, nitrate, nitrate as nitrogen, nitrate as
NO3-, and sulfate by EPA method E300.1;
• Ammonia by EPA method E350.1;
• Total dissolved solids (TDS) by EPA method SM2450C;
• Aluminum, antimony, arsenic, barium, beryllium, cadmium, chromium III, calcium,
cobalt, copper, iron, lead, magnesium, manganese, mercury, molybdenum, nickel,
potassium,selenium,silver,sodium,thallium, acetone,tungsten,vanadium by EPA
method 200.7/8; and
• Hexachrome by IC by EPA method E218.6;
3.4. POST-ISCO INJECTION MONITORING EVENTS
In addition to progress monitoring,four post-ISCO injection groundwater monitoring events
were conducted on 28 June (event No. 1), 05 July(event No. 2), 12 July (event No. 3)and
19 July 2012 (event No.4)utilizing wells MW-1A, MW-2, MW-6, MW-7, MW-8 and MW-10
to determine the effectiveness of the pilot study injections. Field parameters and
groundwater samples were collected in accordance with the Stallworth Auto Sales Draft
MRP Order No. R5-2008-0149(Appendix A)and AGE's standard monitoring and sampling
procedures (Appendix B). Field data and logs are provided in Appendix C.
4.0. FINDINGS
Field measurements and laboratory analyses of groundwater samples were utilized to
evaluate the effectiveness of the ISCO pilot test injections. The following evaluation and
reporting of the field parameters and groundwater samples results are in accordance with
the Stallworth Auto Sales Draft MRP Order No. R5-2008-0149.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
