INTRODUCTION
At the request of Mr. Gary Stallworth, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has
prepared this ground water monitoring report for the property located at 602 North
California Street, Stockton, California (site). The scope of work included the performance
of a ground water monitoring event in April 2012 and preparation of this report.Additionally,
the semi-annual event included baseline ground water sampling in preparation for in-situ
chemical oxidation (ISCO) remediation at the site. The site and surrounding area are
illustrated in Figure 1. On-site structures and monitoring well locations are illustrated in
Figure 2. Site background information is summarized in Appendix A.
Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley
Regional Water Quality Control Board for the investigation of underground storage tank
(UST) sites and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD)for the
sampling of ground water monitoring wells.
2.0. PROCEDURES
On 24 April 2012, a semi-annual ground water monitoring event was performed on all of
the site wells, with the exception of well MW-2; Well MW-2 was covered by a parked
vehicle and was not accessible for the monitoring event. Ground water samples were
collected for laboratory analyses from wells MW-1A, MW-1 C, and MW-6 through MW-10.
Monitoring and sampling was performed in accordance with AGE's standard monitoring
and sampling procedures (Appendix B), with one exception; analysis for total petroleum
hydrocarbons quantified as diesel (TPH-d) was inadvertently omitted from the sampling
suite. Additionally, In accordance with the Stallworth Auto Sales Draft Monitoring and
Reporting Program (MRP) R5-2008-0149, wells MW-1A, MW-6, MW-7, and MW-8 were
sampled for the constituents listed in Table 2 of the MRP and monitored for the parameters
listed in Table 3 of the MRP (Appendix C). Field data and logs are provided in Appendix D.
3.0. FINDINGS
Ground water elevation, flow direction, and gradient were determined from field data
collected on 24 April 2012; contaminant impact to ground water was quantified by
laboratory analytical data.
