Historic UST Investigation Report
630 N.California Street
June 1,2011
Page 4
Table 2—Laboratory Analytical Results—CAM 5 Metals
Constituent
Sample ID Date Sampled Units: mg/kg (EPA Method 6010B)
Cadmium Chromium Lead FNickel FZinc
Detection Limits (mg/kg): 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 5.0
GPI-16 5/5/2011 <1.0 20 8.3 17 24
GP2-18 5/5/2011 <1.0 21 7.3 19 17
GP2-30 5/5/2011 <1,0 17 11 15 19
Units: mg/kg:milligrams per kilogram,pans per million(ppm).
Cadmium was not detected in any of the three samples analyzed for CAM 5 Metals. Chromium, lead,
nickel, and zinc were detected in all three samples analyzed. All of the metals results are consistent with
background concentrations for these metals.
SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Condor conducted a subsurface soil sampling event on May 5, 2011 to investigate the potential presence
of a historic UST and associated petroleum hydrocarbon contamination at 630 N. California Street in
Stockton. Based on the field observations and laboratory analytical results, gasoline appears to have been
released to subsurface soil beneath a UST still in place. The laboratory analytical results appear to be
consistent with highly degraded gasoline, as no oxygenates, no benzene, and no diesel or motor oil were
detected. Condor recommends that the UST be removed along with impacted soil to the maximum
practical extent. Groundwater is likely impacted at the Site from the southern adjoining property as well
as from the gasoline release at the Site. If you have any questions or need additional information, please
call Alex Dewitt at(209) 234-0518.
Respectfully submitted,
CONDOR EARTH TECHNOLOGIES,INC. `0IAAI GF
o`
k O
O 6?
i ALEXANDER 8.DEWITT
Alexander B.
