CONDOR EARTH TECHNOLOGIES, INC.
.I r 188 Frank West Circle, Suite I
Stockton, CA 95206
Phone 209.234.0518
CONDOR Fax www.condorearth.com CONDOR www.condarearth.com
April 23 , 2013
Kerry Wasson
San Joaquin County
44 N. San Joaquin Street, Suite 540
Stockton, CA 95202
RE: Review of SJCEHD Files for 602 N. California Street
Condor Job No. 5960B
Dear Ms. Wasson,
Condor reviewed historic files for 602 N. California Street in an effort to further investigate possible
sources of the release at 630 N. California Street. The underground storage tanks (USTs) at 602 N.
California Street were removed in 1991 , including the waste oil UST. The waste oil UST was 550 gallons
and was located immediately north of the shop building. Samples collected from soil beneath the UST
were not visibly impacted, and laboratory analytical results indicated no constituents of concern.
Condor therefore concludes that the former waste oil UST at 602 N. California Street does not appear to
be a likely source for the release at 630 N. California Street. Please let me know if you have any further
questions.
Sincerely,
CONDOR EARTH TECHNOLOGIES, INC.
Alex Dewitt, PG
Division Manager
CC: SJCEHD-Lisa Medina
X.\Project\5000_jrj\5960 SJC UST RFQ\5960B County of San Joaquin - Records Center\CorrespondenceT 20130423 Wasson SJCEHD
Files.docx
