5.0 CONCLUSIONS
Based on the laboratory analytical results, no petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G, TPH-D, TPH-M, TPH-
K), asbestos, or VOCs were detected in any of the 15 composite soil samples. One OCP, dieldrin, was
detected at 28 micrograms per kilogram (µg/kg) in composite sample 4634-(9, 10, 11, 12)-4, well below
the hazardous waste concentration of 8,000 pg/kg defined in Title 22 of the California Code Regulations.
Composite sample 4634-(1,2, 3,4)had a laboratory analytical result of 41 mg/kg lead.This concentration
of lead is above regional background lead levels, but is below the Title 22 limit of 350 mg/kg lead and is
also below the "trigger level" of 50 mg/kg lead that would requirea waste extraction test. All metal
6w concentrations remain consistent with regional background data from the immediate vicinity and are not
considered contaminants of potential concern.
6.0 RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the laboratory analytical results,it is Condor's opinion that excavated soil can be used for
fill soil off Site, or disposed of at a non-hazardous waste disposal facility (subject to landfill
'- acceptance). However, if indications of contamination are discovered during excavation activities,
Condor recommends that the affected soil be tested for the suspected contaminants. Any recipient
of this soil should be provided the results of this study.
