Health Division <br /> P O Box 388 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> Subject Mrs Helen Higgins / Vogue Cleaners <br /> 2315 N California Street <br /> Stockton, CA Site code 231032 <br /> Dear Mr Infurna Global ID T0607700741 <br /> Please find below the report of the findings for water samples taken from monitoring wells on the <br /> Vogue Cleaners site on 03/09/01 <br /> REPORT OF FINDINGS FOR PHASE 2 SITE INVESTIGATION <br /> QUARTERLY MONITORING WELL SAMPLES FOR 9/14/2001 <br /> i SITE HISTORY <br /> The site has along history of use as a cleaning establishment and presently has the same use On June <br /> 6, 1996,Thorpe Oil removed two empty underground storage tanks from the property under a permit <br /> from the PHS/EIID Soil samples from the tank excavation were obtained using standard methods and <br /> locations The sample from under Tank #1 was taken at a depth of+/- eight feet The sample from <br /> Tank#2 was taken at a depth of+/-nine feet Both these samples and samples from the excavation <br /> spoil showed evidence of hydrocarbon contamination(See map enclosed) All of the above samples <br /> were analyzed by GeoAnaiytical Laboratories,Inc The location of Tank#1 is between two structures <br /> and is 25'from the closest access point by drilling equipment Tank#2 can be accessed by vertical <br /> drilling equipment <br /> Phase 1 ofthe Site Investigation required drilling a slant soil boring under Tank#1 and a vertical soil <br /> bore at the location of Tank #2 ( See the attached soil and water analysis for BH#1 and MW#1) <br /> Phase 2 of the Site Investigation was conducted to define the vertical and horizontal extent of the <br /> contamination plume It was completed on 5/28/98 with the installation of MW#2S, MW#2D <br /> MW#3S,MW#3D,and MW#4S,MW#4D A double monitoring well was installed in each location <br /> The shallow wells(noted by the"S"letter)had a total depth of+/-55'and the deep monitoring wells <br /> had a total depth of+/-75' The original set of water samples was made on 6/11/98 (see water sample <br /> analysis,attached) The latest water samples were takers 09/14/01 and are the subject of this report <br /> SIMI-ANNUAL SAMPLING EVENT REPORT OF 9/14/2001 <br /> SAMPLING PROCEDURE <br /> Monitoring wells were vented and purged by normal methods per standards of the industry (see <br /> Groundwater Field Report by Del-Tech Geotechnical Services attached) Purge pump rates were+/-0 2 <br /> gallons per minute in all monitoring wells Groundwater samples were extracted from each monitoring <br /> 1 <br />
