3 IN THE AREA OUTSIDE 2000' RADIUS (IN USE) <br /> California Water Service NIA Large Domestic Water Well <br /> ,N W Corner of Bonnie <br /> Av & Ellis St 2500' West of the Site <br /> and Up Gradient, Depth - 542' <br /> CONCLUSIONS FROM THIS RECEPTOR SURVEY <br /> In interviews with the various owners of the wells within the 2000'radius it was determined that all of the <br /> active wells in use are only use for irrigation purposes The Stockton Rural Cemetery reported that they <br /> have hose bibs connected to that irrigation system, but that all the domestic use is on a separate potable <br /> water system from California Water Service <br /> The active domestic well owned by California Water Service is in use on this date and there are no plans <br /> to remove that well from service The well is outside the 2000'radius at about 2500'west of the site This i <br /> location is up gradient from the site and the casing is perforated at 196' to 528' of depth The spill from <br /> this site would not present a danger to this domestic well <br /> The site owner, Mrs Helen Higgins, recalled that the well on the site was used by the business for rug ' <br /> cleaning in the past Foothill Engineering inspected the well and found the pump to be disconnected from <br /> a power source <br /> None of the operating receptors found during this survey are at risk from this spill <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> The 4" we]!on the site is not in use and should be abandon as prescribed by standards of the industry This <br /> well presents a health hazard to the public and that hazard should be removed <br /> DISCLAIMER <br /> In conducting this receptor survey the author reviewed all public records on file with the SJCPH and the <br /> DWR that concerned any well work within the 2000'radius of the site that required a permit or a Water <br /> Well Drillers Report A ground survey of all the properties within the 2000' radius was not conducted to <br /> determine if any wells were constructed without a permit This survey relied on public records and <br /> personal interviews as described above <br /> Any questions on the receptor survey should be directed to Ervin Rifenburg at Foothill Engineering(209) <br /> 368-9381 <br /> Respectfully submitted, Lo�aaf�s��p� , <br /> QIFJ <br /> RIF <br /> Foot gi en <br /> No 197 <br /> Ervin Rifen urg, c� <br /> Attachments Area reap, Site map wlgroundwater gradient <br /> 2 <br />
