Installation of one air-sparging well,AW-1,to a depth of 65 feet below ground surface (bgs).for <br /> the purpose of conducting an insitu air-sparging pilot test. The screen interval will be set at <br /> approximately 60 to 65 feet bgs. Soil samples will be collected at 5-foot intervals for lithological <br /> description and at least one soil sample will be submitted for chemical analysis. <br /> 2. Selected soil samples will be analyzed for: <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline(ITH-g) by United States Environmental <br /> Protection Agency(EPA) SW-846 Method 8015B; <br /> + Benzene, toluene,ethyl benzene,and total xylenes (BTEX),methyl tertiary-butyl ether <br /> (MTBE),tertiary butyl alcohol(TBA),di-isopropyl ether^(DIPE),ethyl tertiary-butyl ether <br /> (ETBE), tertiary amyl methyl ether(TAME),ethylene dibromide (EDB), <br /> 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA),methanol,and ethanol by EPA SW-846 Method 8260B. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1.
