Vicki McCartney [EH]
From: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Sent: Tuesday, May 07, 2013 12:00 PM T
To: 'Walsh, Thomas(Rancho Cordova)'
Cc: John Yoakum [EH]; Adrienne Ellsaesser[EH] °e
Subject: RE: ARCO 2186 Well Destruction Permits
Good morning Thomas,
I was very pleased to receive your email and am looking forward to completing the well destructions at the
the ARCO 2186 site at 3212 California Street in Stockton.
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's fees have not changed so the five well
destructions will still cost$1,000.00. If anything has changed on the Master File Record (MFR) form, then
you must submit a new MFR form when you submit the permit application and check for$1,000.00.
Our field inspector, Johnny Yoakum, is very busy so it is important that you contact Johnny at
209.468.3147 to confirm his availability, once the field work has been scheduled.
I did check with Adrienne Ellsaesser concerning the destruction of MW-1 D and Adrienne's instructions in
her email dated 11 July 2012 still apply; however, things have changed concerning the well destructions
of nested wells VW-1A, VW-1 B, VW-2A and VW-2B. These wells can still be pressure grouted but use
neat cement grout according to the San Joaquin County Well Standards instead of using 30 percent
bentonite solid grout, blotter sand and 10.3 sack sand/cement mixture as stated in the email dated 28
June 2012 from Adrienne Ellsaesser.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209)468-9852
Email: vmccartne sacehd.com
,i
From: Walsh,Thomas (Rancho Cordova) [mailto:Tom.Walsh2@stantec.com]
Sent: Tuesday, May 07, 2013 10:58 AM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Subject: RE: ARCO 2186 Well Destruction Permits
Good morning Vicki,
It has been quite some time since we have spoken regarding the well destruction activities at
ARCO 2186, located at 3212 California Street in Stockton. We are finally ready to move on our
side, and I wanted to verify with you that the information in the email below is still valid (now that
the permits have officially expired).
I look forward to your response, and finally completing the work out there!
Thank you,
Thomas Walsh
5/7/2013
