It appears that vapor extraction
well VW-3 was inadvertently not included in the May 14, 2009 survey. To determine if it is
appropriate to use survey data collected on May 10, 2004 for well VW-3, Stantec compared the
longitude, latitude, and elevation survey data for the other site wells (Attachment B). With the
exception of the elevation data for well VW-4, the differences between the 2004 and 2009
survey data appear to be negligible, and it was decided that it is acceptable to use the 2004
survey data for well VW-31in future reports.
Sincerely,
Stantec Consulting Corporation
Catherine Francini
Project Manager
2186 VW-3 2009 survey data letter.doc 1
