The
modifications proposed are based on careful review of historical groundwater concentration trends
observed at the site. The modifications proposed are:
1) Cease analysis of all fuel oxygenates other than MTBE, including methanol, in all
wells. Groundwater monitoring has been performed at the site since 1998. Fuel
oxygenates have generally not been detected at concentrations exceeding their respective
analytical method detection limits in groundwater samples collected at the site. The
sporadic detections of fuel oxygenates have generally been at concentrations below their
respective Preliminary Remediation Goals. SECOR recommends removing all fuel
oxygenates other than MTBE from the list of analytes at the site.
2) Cease analysis of lead in all samples. Groundwater analytical data indicate that analysis
for lead does not appear warranted. SECOR recommends removing lead from the list of
analytes at the site.
For your reference, a copy of all historical quarterly monitoring and sampling data collected by TRC
Solutions through the first quarter of 2008 is presented in Attachment 1.
