- 5 <br /> t <br /> I <br /> Quarterly Summary Report <br /> First Quarter 1999 <br /> Tosco (Circle K) Store #1205 <br /> 16470 Cambridge Street <br /> Lathrop, California - <br /> CITY Lathrop <br /> COUNTY San Joaquin. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> The site is an active Circle K Store located at 16420 Cambndge Street in Lathrop, California _ <br /> On November 10, 1997, three underground storage tanks (USTs), product dispensers, and <br /> associated product lines were removed from the site Approximately 1,241 tons of <br /> hydrocarbon-impacted soil was removed from beneath the USTs and in the area of the new <br /> UST pit and transported to Forward Landfill in Stockton for disposal In addition, <br /> approximately 17,000 gallons of hydrocarbon-impacted groundwater was removed from the r <br /> • new UST pit and transported to a permitted facility for treatment Soil samples collected from <br /> beneath the former UST complex reported elevated concentrations of total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons as gasoline(TPH-g), benzene, and MtBE On August 21, 1998 two - <br /> groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1 and MW-2) and one continuous soil boring were <br /> completed in an effort to delineate the lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbons in the soil and <br /> groundwater On September 14, 1995 two additional monitoring wells (MW-3 and MW-4) <br /> were installed ' <br /> RECENT QUARTER ACTIVITIES <br /> • First Quarter 1999 sampling event was performed , <br /> • <br /> Off-site Research and Sensitive Receptor Survey Report was submitted <br /> • Soil and Groundwater Investigation report was submitted <br /> ANTICIPATED NEXT QUARTER ACTIVITIES - <br /> • Perform Second Quarter 1999 sampling event <br /> 9110052A/I Q99QSR 04/19/99 <br /> 2 <br />
