Dissolved MTBE
concentrations were confirmed at well MW-19(A and B)during both the 2'Quarter 2004(14 June)
and the Yd Quarter 2004(13 September)ground water monitoring events where MTBE was detected
from MW-19A at concentrations as high as 4,800 µg/1 and from MW-19B at concentrations as high
as 9.5 µg/l. Ground water monitoring well MW-19 analytical results are summarized in Tables 1.
Based on ground water data, there appears to be a third, distinct MTBE-impacted ground water
plume north of the Flag City Chevron, and concentrated in the area of well MW-19. AGE has
concluded that this third MTBE-plume may have vertically migrated from the First Zone(10-35 ft)
near Banner Avenue to the Second Zone (40-60 ft) at the northern Flag City Chevron property
boundary, most likely drawn by ground water extraction activities at the Flag City Chevron site.
Therefore, AGE has prepared this letter as an addendum to the above referenced Work Plan
Addendum -April 2004, to include one additional dual-completed ground water monitoring well
837 Shaw Road,Stockton, California 95215
Telephone(209)467-1006 FAX(209)467-1118
