An <br /> electronic copy of the Cost Proposal is available by email attachment upon request. <br /> The Cost Proposal includes a file review, work plan for destruction of five Site monitoring <br /> wells, Site monitoring wells destruction, coordination (or disposal of) for samples and <br /> investigative derived soil and groundwater wastes, and a well destruction report. Due to <br /> Emergency, Abandoned, and Recalcitrant (EAR) Account budgetary constraints, work will start <br /> when funding is released. Total cost for the proposed work is estimated as $77,340.00. The <br /> funds available for FY2010/2011 are $50,000. <br /> Based on my review, I find the proposed costs reasonable and acceptable. However, since <br /> the costs exceed the amount budgeted for the FY2010/2011 ($50,000), and the majority of the <br /> cost is from the subcontractor (driller, $44,000.00), the work may be placed on hold until <br /> additional funds equal to the estimate are approved, either by the State Water Resources <br /> Control Board, or during the next round of EAR Account approvals/funding in FY2011/2012. <br /> Please contact me by phone at (916) 464-4614 or by email at ibarton(c)waterboards.ca.gov if <br /> you have questions or comments. <br /> I� <br /> /;James L.L.
