Each sample was immediately <br /> placed in an ice chest and cooled to 4°C using dry ice. <br /> Sample Shipment and Chnin-or-Custpd2 Procedures <br /> Complete records were kept on each sample including sampling date,sample type,location, and <br /> other pertinent information. The sample containers were banded and scaled with chain-of-custody <br /> seals. The samples were cooled to 4°C at the site and maintained at that temperature until <br /> delivered to a State certified laboratory. <br /> Chain-of-custody procedures, generally described in Test Methods for Evaluating Solid Waste <br /> SW-846,U.S.EPA, 1982,were followed. A chain-of-custody form accompanied the samples from <br /> the place of collection to the testing laboratory, and through the completion of the analytical <br /> process. The chain-of-custody forr,t included project identification information, the sample type <br /> and number, the date and time of sampling,the chemical analyses requested,and the identity of <br /> the person taking possession at each change of custody. <br /> r� <br /> I-PR NMI <br />
