29 July 2445
AGE-NC Project No 96-0232
2 4 13 Secondary Aquifer Zone
Ground water elevation data collected in the Secondary Aquifer Zone (85 to 105 feet bsg) inferred
a net ground water flow direction at the Flag City Chevron towards the east-southeast at a hydraulic
gradient of 0 001 ft/ft or less The ground water gradient at the Three B's Truck Plaza inferred a net
ground water flow direction towards the east-northeast at a hydraulic gradient of 0 001 ft/ft or less
(Figure 6)
2 4 14 Primary Aquifer Zone
Ground water elevation data collected in the Primary Aquifer Zone (130 to 150 feet bsg) inferred a
net ground water flow direction at the Flag City Chevron towards the southeast at a hydraulic
gradient of 0 002 ft/ft or less The ground water gradient at the Three B's Truck Plaza inferred a net
ground water flow direction between cast and southeast at a hydraulic gradient of 0 001 ft/ft or less
(Figure 7)
2 4 2 Laboratory Results of Ground Water Samples
During the June 2005 sampling event, TPH-g was not detected in any water samples TPH-d was
detected in water samples collected from wells MW-613 and MW-12A at a concentration of 73 µg11
and 170 µg/l,the laboratory report noted that the TPH-d chromatograms for both samples contained
significant diesel range compounds
MTBE was detected in water samples collected from wells MW-2, MW-6B, MW-7, MW-8A,
MW-11 (A and B), MW-13B, MW-14 through MW-20A at concentrations as high as 610 µg/1
(MW-8A), MTBE was also detected from ground water extraction wells EW-1, EW-2 and EW-4
through EW-10 at concentrations as high as 110 µg11 from EW-7 and 100 µg11 from EW-10
Isoconcentration maps displaying the estimated extent of dissolved MTBE in First Zone and Second
Zone aquifer are depicted in Figures 8, 9 and 10
No other constituents of concern were detected above laboratory reporting limits in the water
samples collected during the second quarter 2005 sampling event Analytical results of ground water
monitoring well samples are summarized in Tables 3 and 4 The laboratory reports (McCampbell
Analytical Inc Work Order Nos 0506567, 0547002, 0507050 and 050723 1) and chain of custody
forms are presented in Appendix C, GeoTracker confirmation pages of the submitted laboratory
electronic deliverable format (EDF) files are included in Appendix D
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
