Receiving water samples were logged on a chain of custody form, placed in a chilled container and
transported to a DHS-certified laboratory for analysis for
- ` e- Total dissolved solids by EPA Method 160 1 (quarterly sampling frequency), and- - Y
O Turbidity by EPA Method 180 1 ,
2 4 INFLUENT MONITORING RESULTS
In accordance with the requirements of RWQCB Monitoring and Reporting Program No 5-00-119,
ground water pump-and-treat influent samples were analyzed for TPH-g, TPH-d, TPH-mo, BTEX,
methanol, ethanol, MTBE, DIPE, TAME, ETBE, TBA, 1,2-DCA, EDB and total lead (quarterly
basis) on 14 April, 13 May and 15 June 2004
Influent water samples collected on all three of the above monthly monitoring events detected MTBE
(by EPA Method 8260) at concentrations of 16 micrograms per liter (gg/l), 19 µg/1 and 15 µg/1,
respectively (Table 1) The laboratory analysis did not detect any other petroleum constituents of
• concern Analytical results of pump-and-treat Influent-water samples are summarized in Table 1,
laboratory reports are In Appendix B
25 EFFLUENT MONITORING RESULTS
In accordance with the requirements of RWQCB Monitoring and Reporting Program No 5-00-1.19,
monthly ground water purnp-and-treat effluent monitoring was performed for flow rate, specific
conductivity(EC),pH,temperature,total dissolved solids(TDS),TPH-g, TPH-d, TPH-mo,BTEX,
methanol, ethanol, MTBE, DIPE, TAME, ETBE, TBA, 1,2-DCA, EDB and nitrate on 14 April, on
13 May and on 15 June 2004, In addition, a bioassay was performed on the quarterly effluent sample
collected on 15 June 2004
Laboratory analysis of pump-treat effluent grab water samples collected on all three of the above
monthly monitoring events did not detect any petroleum constituents of concern Analytical results
are summarized in Table 1, laboratory reports are In Appendix B
Nitrate as NO3 was detected on all three of the above monthly monitoring events at concentrations
of 42 mg/l, 42 mg/l and 44 mg/l, respectively, TDS values were reported on the same dates at
concentrations of 698 mg/l, 779 mg/l and 668 mg/l,respectively Analytical results are summarized
In Table 2, laboratory reports are In Appendix C
