ADDITIONAL NPDES SAMPLING REQUIREMENTS <br />' An RWQCB waste water discharge permit (NPDES permit no CAG915001) for discharge was <br /> Issued to Flag City Chevron by RWQCB letter dated 06 November 2000 In accordance with the <br /> State Water Resources Control Board's (SWRCB) State Implementation Policy (SIP), Flag City <br />' Chevron was directed by RWQCB letters, dated 11 September and 05 November 2001 to perform <br /> additional NPDES sampling for a variety of potential waste constituents from the pump-and-treat <br /> effluent sampling point <br />' The additional effluent ground water samples were logged on a chain-of-custody form, placed in a <br /> chilled container and transported to California Department of Health Services (DHS)-certified <br />' laboratories for analysis for <br /> • Volatile organic compounds by EPA Method 8260, <br /> e Semi-volatile organic compounds by EPA Method 8270, <br /> c Dioxin and dibenzofuran congeners by EPA Method 1613, <br /> 0 Pesticides and polychlorinated bi-phenols (PCBs) by EPA Method 8080 <br /> • Inorganic compounds including Aluminum,Antimony,Arsenic,Asbestos,Barium,Beryllium, <br /> Cadmium, total Chromium, Chromium VI, Copper, Cyanide, Fluoride, Iron, Lead, Mercury, <br /> Manganese, Nickel, Selenium, Silver, Thallium, Tributyltm and Zinc by various EPA <br /> Methods, <br /> • General mineral constituents including Ammonia,Chloride,Hardness,Foanung Agents,Nitrite <br /> as Nitrogen, total Phosphorus, Sulfate, Sulfide and Sulfite by various EPA Methods <br /> Because of lengthy laboratory turn-around times, AGE will submit the above analytical results and <br /> tabulation as an addendum to this quarterly report <br /> 5.0.
