30 October 2003 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 96-0232 <br /> Page 4 of 15 <br />' • Nitrate as NO3 by EPA Method 353 3 (effluent samples only), and <br /> • Aquatic toxicity (Bioassay) by EPA Method EPA 60014-90/027F (quarterly sampling <br />' frequency, effluent samples only) <br /> Receivingwater samples were <br /> p logged on a chain of custody farm,placed in a chilled container and <br /> transported to a DHS-certified laboratory for analysis for F <br /> • Total dissolved solids by EPA Method 160 1 (quarterly sampling frequency), and <br />' • Turbidity by EPA Method 180 1 <br /> 2 4 INFLUENT MONITORING RESULTS <br />' In accordance with the requirements ofRWQCB Monitoring and Reporting Program No 5-00-119, <br /> ground water pump-and-treat influent samples were analyzed for TPH-g, TPH-d, BTEX, MTBE, <br />' . methanol, ethanol, DIPE, TAME, ETBE, TBA, 1,2-DCA, EDB and total lead (quarterly basis) on <br /> 25 July, 29 August and 15 September 2003 <br /> Influent water samples collected on 25 July, on 29 August and on 15 September 2003 detected <br /> MTBE (by EPA Method 8260) at concentrations of 19 micrograms per Iiter (µg/1), 18 µg/1 and <br /> 18 µg/l, respectively (Table 1) The laboratory analysis did not detect any other petroleum <br /> constituents of concern Analytical results ofpump--and-treat influent-water samples are summarized <br /> in Table 1, laboratory reports are in Appendix B <br />' 25 EFFLUENT MONITORING RESULTS <br /> In accordance with the requirements ofRWQCB Monitoring and Reporting Program No 5-00-119, <br /> monthly ground water pump-and-treat effluent monitoring was performed for flow rate, specific <br /> conductivity(EC), pH, temperature, total dissolved solids (TDS), TPH-g, TPH-d, BTEX, MTBE, <br /> methanol, ethanol,DIPE,TAME,ETBE, TBA, 1,2-DCA,EDB and nitrate on 25 July,on 29 August <br /> and on 15 September 2003, in addition, a bioassay was performed on the quarterly effluent sample <br /> collected on 15 September 2003 <br /> Laboratory analysis of pump-treat effluent grab water samples collected on 21 April and on 14 May <br /> did not detect any petroleum constituents of concern,however,MTBE was detected from the effluent <br /> grab sample collected on 25 July 2003 at a concentration of 0 71 µg/1 The effluent was re-sampled <br /> 1 <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmentai,Inc <br /> I <br />
