15 October 2001 t� AGE-NC Project No 96-0232 ' Page 17 of 17 ' to extend approximately 30 feet toward the north and approximately 35 feet bsg (Figure 7), to the west the plume appears to extend approximately 200 to 250 feet laterally and to depths as great as 75 feet bsg(Figures 7 and 8), to the south the plume appears to extend approximately 40 to 50 feet and to depths as great as 35 feet bsg (Figure 8), and to the east the plume appears to extend approximately 90 to 100 feet laterally and to depths as great as 35 feet bsg (Figures 7 and 9) ' 7.0 RECOMMENDATIONS ' Based upon data collected from the site, AGE recommends • Continued quarterly ground water monitoring and sampling of monitoring wells MW-1 ' through MW-13,municipal water wells CSA-1 and CSA-2 and domestic watt wells DW-1 and RDW-1 ' • Continued coordinated quarterly ground water monitoring and sampling events with Three B's Truck Plaza ' Continued selective ground water extraction in alternating weekly shifts from extraction wells located in the south trench-line (EW-2, EW-4, EW-6 and EW-9) and wells located in the north.trench-line(EW-5, EW-7, EW-8 and EW-10) A heavier emphasis should be given to ground water extraction from EW-4 and EW-5 due to the higher MTBE concentrations reported at these wells 8.0.
