INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK r } <br /> At the request of Mr Richard Bokides,Advanced GeoEnvirorunental, Inc (AGE) has prepareF this <br /> quarterly report for 6421 Capitol Avenue (the site), Lodi, California The report documents <br /> procedures and results for ground water monitonng and remediation activities conducted at the-site <br /> during July, August and September 2001 (third quarter 2001) The enclosed quarterly report was <br /> prepared as required by California Regional Water Quality Control Board- Central Valley Region <br /> (RWQCB) Cleanup and Abatement Order No 5-00-700, dated 01 March 2000 The site setting is <br /> Illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures and monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> The objectives of third quarter investigations were to characterize, assess and monitor dissolved <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons and methyl tert butyl ether (MTBE) concentrations in ground water, to <br /> characterize ground water flow direction and gradient and to continue ground water remediation at <br /> the site This report is prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the California Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board(CRWQCB)-Central Valley Division for investigation of underground <br /> storage tank(UST) sites Background mformation and a description of prior Investigations at the site <br /> were included in AGE'S Final Remediation Plan, dated 05 October 2000 <br /> The followingis a brief summary of third quarter 2001 site assessment and remediation activities <br /> �3' <br /> performed at the site <br /> c 01 July through 30 September 2001 - Continued"pump and treat"remediation utilizing wells <br /> IEW-2, EW-4, EW-5, EW-6, EW-7, EW-8, EW-9 and EW-10, <br /> a 01 July through 30 September 2001 - Discharge approximately 1,923,307 gallons of <br /> extracted and treated water into Coldam Ditch <br /> • 02 July 2001 -Monthly ground water pump-and-treat influent, effluent and receiving water <br /> monitoring event <br /> N • 01 August 2001 - Monthly ground water pump-and-treat influent, effluent and receiving <br /> water monitoring event <br /> • 06 September 2001 -Monthly ground water purnp-and-treat influent, effluent and receiving <br /> water monitoring event <br /> I • 05, 06 and 07 September 2001 - Third Quarter 2001 ground water monitoring event <br /> 1 2.0 GROUND WATER PUMP AND TREAT REMEDIATION SYSTEM <br /> A ` Between 01 July and 30 September 2001,a ground water pump-and-treat system was continuously <br /> Advanced GeoEnvlronmental,Inc <br />
