1 <br />' Quarterly Report - Fourth Quarter 2001 <br />' FLAG CITY CHEVRON <br /> 6421 Capitol Avenue, Lodi, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br />' At the request of Mr Richard Bokides,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for 6421 Capitol Avenue (the site), Lodi, Cahfornia The report documents <br /> procedures and results for ground water monitoring and remediation performed at the site during <br />' October, November and December 2001 (fourth quarter 2001) The enclosed quarterly report was <br /> prepared as required by California Regional Water Quality Control Board - Central Valley Region <br /> (RWQCB) Cleanup and Abatement Order No 5-00-700, dated 01 March 2000 The site setting is <br />' illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures and momtoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> The objectives of fourth quarter investigations were to characterize, assess and monitor dissolved <br />' petroleum hydrocarbons and methyl tert butyl ether (MTBE) concentrations in ground water, to <br /> characterize ground water flow direction and gradient and to continue ground water remediation at <br /> the site This report is prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the California Regional <br />' Water Quality Control Board (CRWQCB) - Central Valley Division for investigations of <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites Background information and a description of prior <br /> investigations at the site were included in AGE's Final Remediation Plan, dated 05 October 2000 <br />�• The following is a brief summary of fourth quarter 2001 site assessment and remediation activities <br /> performed at the site <br /> O 01 October through 31 December 2001. - Continued " urn - - " <br /> g p p and treat remediation utilizing <br /> on-site extraction wells EW-2, EW-4, EW-5, EW-6, EW-7, EW-8, EW-9 and EW-10, <br /> G 01 October through 31 December 2001 - Discharged approximately 2,043,809 gallons of <br /> extracted and treated water into Caldani Ditch <br /> a <br /> 15 October 2001 - Monthly ground water pump-and-treat influent, effluent and receiving <br /> water monitoring event <br /> • 07 November 2001 -Monthly ground water pump-and-treat influent, effluent and receiving <br /> water monitoring event <br /> C 12 December 2001 -Monthly ground water pump-and-treat influent, effluent and receiving <br /> water monitoring event <br /> 0 11, 12 & 13 December 2001 - Fourth Quarter 2001 ground water monitoring event <br /> 2.0 GROUND WATER PUMP AND TREAT REMEDIATION SYSTEM <br /> .
