Protection Agency, 1985) Prior to mobilization, each monitoring well location will be clearly
marked and a utility clearance obtained through Underground Sen ice Alert
3 2 CPT DMLING AND SOIL SAMPLE COLLECTION
AGE proposes to drill five CPT soil boxings at the site as part of site assessment activities Proposed
CPT soil boring locations are illustrated in Figure 2
Based on MTBE-impact encountered during the ongoing investigation, AGE proposes CPT soil
borings in the followmg locations
• Between 10 and 20 feet west of ground water monitoring well MW-1 to characterize
lithology, potential contaminant migration pathways and to assess the vertical extent of
MTBE-impacted ground water downgradient of the UST area,
• Between 10 and 20 feet east of the Rocky's Restaurant domestic drinking water well to
characterize lithology, potential contaminant migration pathways and to assess the vertical
extent of MTBE-impacted ground w ater downgradient of the UST area,
BetReen 40 and 50 feet north of ground water monitoring well NTW-4 to characterize
lithology, ground water gradient, potential contaminant migration pathways and to assess the
vertical extent of MTBE-impacted ground water downgradierit of the former UST area,
• Advanced GeolEnvir nmentai,Inc.
