INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> r <br />' At the request of Mr' Richard Bokides of Flag City Chevron, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc- <br /> (AGE)has prepared this Quarterly Report for 6421 Capital Avenue(the site), Lodi, California The <br /> site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures and monitoring well locations are depicted on <br />' Figure 2 <br /> t <br /> The objective of the work was to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in ground <br /> water,to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons in the domestic drinking eater well located 150 ` <br /> feet southwest of the site and to characterize ground water flow direction and gradient on the site <br /> This report is prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the San Joaquin County Public <br />' - Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and by the Central Valley Regional <br /> \Vater Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) <br /> sites Background information and a description of prior investigations at the site was included in <br />' AGE's Closure Sunvn,ary Report -Apx x11996, dated 28 April 1997 <br /> , <br />' 2.0 QUARTERLY MONITORING AND SAMPLING PROCEDURES <br />' On 01 June 1999, ground water monitoring and'sampling was performed at wells MW-1, MW-2, <br /> MW-4, MW-5, MW-6 and MW-7, ground water sampling was performed at the domestic drinking <br /> water well located 150 feet southwest of the site Ground «ater monitoring procedures for the site <br />' were outlined in the Wox k Plan Addendum, dated 28 January 1998 and approved b3 the PHS-EHD <br /> by a letter on 24 February,l998 <br /> 5 , <br /> f <br /> 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES y <br /> Depth to ground water was measured at,each monitoring well from the^tops of the well casings at <br /> the site to the nearest 0 01 foot utilizing a Solinst water level meter Ground water elevations in each <br />' <br /> well at the site were calculated by subtracting the measured depth to ground water trom surveyed <br /> casing elevations(Table 1) Ground water elevations were plotted and contoured on a scaled site map <br /> (Figure 3} <br /> After water levels were measured,`approximately 8 to 10 gallons of ground water (a minimum of <br /> three well-volumes per well) were removed from wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-4, MW-5, MW-6A, <br />' MW-613 and MW-7 utilizing a two-stage submersible pump, during' ground water evacuation <br /> ,.
