27 January 1999 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 96-0232 <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br />' 1998 ground water monitoring events, decreasing ground water elevations have been observed at the <br /> site since February 1998 The ground water elevation data for MW-1, MW-2 and MW-4 through <br />' <br /> MW-7 during the November 1998 ground water monitoring event is depicted in Figure 3 Due to an, <br /> anomalous measurement, data collected from MW-6B was not utilized to determine ground water <br /> elevations <br />' Ground water monitoring data collected in November 1998 in the area of MW-1, MW-2 and MW-4 <br /> through MW-7 indicated that the ground water flow direction was generally toward the north at a <br /> gradient of 0 0008 ft/ft, or approximately 4 feet per mile (Figure 3) <br /> ' 3 2 , LABORATORY RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> TPH-g was detected in a water sample collected from MW-1 during the November 1998 sampling <br /> Ievent at a concentration of 480 micrograms per liter (,ug/l), however, the laboratory reported the <br /> sample chromatogram did not have typical gasoline characteristics TPH-d was detected in a water <br /> sample collected from MW-6B at a concentration of 240 ,ug/l, however, the laboratory reported that <br /> the diesel chromatograms for the samples did not have typical diesel characteristics <br />' Ethylbenzene was detected in a water sample collected from well MW-6B at a concentration of <br /> 0 051 µg11, no other BTEX compounds were detected from analyzed water samples <br /> MTBE was detected In all seven water samples at concentrations ranging from 1 1 ug/l to 1,100 <br /> ug/l, no fuel oxygenates were detected above laboratory reporting limits <br /> I Analytical results of the ground water samples are summarized in Table 2 The laboratory reports <br /> (Castle Analytical Laboratory Reference No 1850 and McCampbell Analytical Inc I D No 98505 <br /> through 98511) and chain-of-custody forms are presented in Appendix B <br /> I M <br /> I <br /> I <br /> 4.0.
