MLTR - San Joaquin County hauler Page 6 of 7
Thanks for following up
on this. Where do his
tires go from the
"collection center"??
Laura
From: Garrett T. Backus
[EH]
[mailto:gbackus@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Tuesday, August
23, 2005 9:42 AM
To: Niles, Laura
Subject: MLTR - San
Joaquin County hauler
Laura,
I met with Edwin
Lavagnino, coowner of
MLTR, yesterday. He
parks his trucks at 2420
S California St, Stockton
95206. He had one of
his three hauler trucks
available for inspection. I
will go back and inspect
the remaining trucks
when he is not using
them. He had
approximately 2700
waste tires onsite in three
53 foot trailers and the
hauler truck. These tires
are in the"collection
process" and he does not
need a waste tire facility
permit.
His manifests are kept at
his home nearby. I have
an appointment to review
their records on Sept 7. 1
did talk to Edwin about
filling out the manifests
completely including
decal number and
specifically mentioned
the Berkeley transfer
station incomplete
manifests. He
immediately called his
driver, who was picking
up at the transfer station,
and told him to fill out the
manifests completely.
9/30/2005
