FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT Section 11400 <br /> A. Install in strict conformance with referenced standards, manufacturer's written installation <br /> instructions, as shown and as specified and in accordance with "Guidelines for Seismic <br /> Restraints of Kitchen Equipment" by Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors <br /> National Association (SMACNA).. <br /> B. PIPES AND DRAINS: Cut holes in equipment or fixtures for pipes and drains. <br /> C. SEALING: Seal equipment and fixtures with mastic to prevent vermin harborage. <br /> D. WALK-IN REFRIGERATION ELECTRICAL & PLUMBING CONNECTIONS: <br /> 1. Electrical: Verify location and connection of electrical conduit and wiring to"inter- <br /> lock"the condensing units with the refrigeration coils installed inside of the walk- <br /> ins. <br /> 2. Plumbing: Verify that drain lines from the coils are properly installed and <br /> complete with the correct pitch and traps. <br /> E. FIRE SUPPRESSION GAS SHUT/OFF VALVE: Verify location above the ceiling area and <br /> that the ceiling access panel allows linkage conduit and wiring fittings to be concealed in <br /> the walls or the ceiling. <br /> 3.03 FIELD QUALITY CONTROL <br /> A. FIELD TESTING: Test installed equipment in the presence of the Architect and the <br /> Inspector. <br /> B. RETESTING: Make necessary corrections to defected work and retest. <br /> 3.04 ADJUSTMENT AND MAINTENANCE <br /> A. Prior to occupancy of the building adjust moveable parts to assure proper and smooth <br /> operation. <br /> B. Instruct Owner in the proper use and maintenance of items and to set up a maintenance <br /> schedule. <br /> 3.05 CLEANING <br /> A. Upon completion clean surfaces in a manner that will not affect the finish appearance. <br /> B. Keep premises free from accumulation of waste and rubbish. At the completion of work <br /> and as necessary during progress of work, remove waste and rubbish from site. <br /> 3.06 FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT SCHEDULE <br /> A.
