The following personal monitoring will be in effect onsite: <br /> iSite personnel will be observed by the Site Safety Officer to determine whether they <br /> are operating in a safe manner. Special attention will be given to observing for heat <br /> stress. <br /> TRAINING REQUIREMENTS <br /> ' All personnel will be up-to-date on the requirements set forth in 29 CFR 1910.120. It is the <br /> responsibility of the Corporate Health and Safety Coordinator, Ms. Lori Skiba, to maintain the <br /> ' required annual 8-hour refresher training for all personnel. <br /> Personnel working on the project must be made aware of the chemical hazards and the <br /> ' ramifications to human health from exposure to chemical hazards associated with this project. <br /> Prior to drilling through and handling contaminated soil, workers will be informed of the chemical <br /> hazards and the impacts to human health from exposure to these chemicals via tailgate safety <br /> ' meetings. Training topics covered should include hazard recognition, flammability and toxicity of <br /> chemicals anticipated to be onsite, use of site monitoring instruments, use of respiratory <br /> equipment and other PPE, etc. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> ' Communication in the work zone, including into or out of the exclusion zone, will <br /> generally be accomplished by voice and signaling system. A cellular telephone also will be <br /> available on site for purposes of communicating emergency situations.
