This <br /> workplan contains 1) a summary of the site history, 2) the proposed workscope to perform a site <br /> investigation at the subject site, 3) a projected time schedule for the completion of work, and <br /> 1 4) a proposed monitoring program for the proposed Olin Interconnect Technologies Facility <br /> 1 located at 555 Carnegie Street in Manteca, California (Figure 1). <br /> 1 SITE LOCATION <br /> The project site is located on Carnegie Street near the intersection of Mellon Avenue in <br /> 1 Manteca, California. The site location is in a primarily commercial and industrial area. The <br /> property is currently owned by Concord General Corporation and the site contact is Mr. Lee <br /> ' Clifford of Olin Corporation. Olin Corporation currently leases a nearby property and plans to <br /> relocate to the site during the third quarter of 1995. <br /> ' BACKGROUND <br /> 1 The building at this site was constructed in 1977 and was occupied initially by Moduline, a <br /> builder of mobile homes, for a period of five years. From 1982 to 1990, the building was <br /> 1 occupied by Shinko Electric America (Shinko), which manufactured computer components.
