41 '
JUNE 1993
QUARTERLY STATUS REPORT (CONTINUED)
Site map delineating contamination contours for soil and groundwater
based on recent data:
Figure 4 is a site map showing analytical results for soil samples collected
during the -preliminary site investigation (September 1991). The area of
contamination appears to be limited, with constituents detected at MW-2, MW-3
and B-1 only The extent of soil contamination at the site was further defined
during the supplemental subsurface investigation. A report summarizing the
findings of this investigation was submitted to EHD on April 1,1993
A map delineating the extent of groundwater contamination has not been
prepared because sample results to date indicate groundwater is not
contaminated. Figure 3 shows recent analytical data for groundwater samples
plotted on a site base map
• Tank owner commitment letter:
The cover letter submitted with this report is intended to serve as the tank owner
commitment letter. GLI has approved the report and designated ES as their
responsible party
• The quantity of groundwater and vapors removed during the reporting
period and cumulative to date:
Not Applicable
• Times and dates equipment was not operating, cause of shutdown, and a
corrective action plan to insure similar shutdowns do no reoccur:
Not Applicable
• TimeIines for activities currently underway or proposed:
Greyhound proposes to continue the groundwater monitoring and sampling
program in accordance with all applicable LUFT and Tri-Regional
requirements However, Greyhound has requested that the frequency of
monitoring and sampling be decreased to twice per year based on analytical data
iobtained to date
i MIJSY360 2210061 REV 1
4
