Box 2912
Mission, Kansas 66210
Attention: Mr. Dave Bates
Subject: OCTOBER 1986 GROUND WATER SAMPLING RESULTS
Dear Mr. Bates:
Enclosed please find the results of the October , 1986 ground
water sampling program. These results are included in four
separate laboratory reports , three of which were prepared by
Canonie Engineers at Stockton and one by California Analytical
Laboratories , Inc . of West Sacramento , California. The Field
Summary Sheet for October 1986 is also included for your
records. Please be advised the October 7 , 1986 report by Canonie
has listed MW-362. This is apparently a typographical error as
can be seen by reviewing the attached chain-of-custody form, the
correct ID number should be MW-363 .
In reference to the QA/QC samples submitted, the following
observations can be made.
1 . Triplicate samples submitted from monitoring well #6
(See MW-6 , MW-62 , and MW-6-CAL results) show a nominal
variation for hexavalent and total chromium. Nitrate
concentrations however appear to deviate significantly.
This deviation also existed within the September results
as reported in our October 7 , 1986 correspondence
accompanying the laboratory results.
a i /
try
