(GTI), to describe groundwater monitoring, performed at
the subject site on February 16, 1993 and May 17, 1993.
i
The site groundwater gradient direction measured during the February event was predominantly
toward the southeast. Detectable concentrations of dissolved hydrocarbons were, measured in
monitoring wells MW-1,MW-2; and MW-3. The measured levels were similar to those observed
during previous site monitoring events.
The interpreted direction of groundwater flow measured during May was again toward the
southeast. Detectable concentrations of dissolved hydrocarbons were measured in all five site
monitoring wells. Dissolved hydrocarbons were detected in wells MW-4 and MW-5 for the first
time during this site monitoring event. These detections are coincident with a two foot decrease in
the measured depth,to groundwater. Results from GTI's third quarter sampling will help confirm
the presence of dissolved hydrocarbons at these locations.
Also attached is a copy of the invoice received.from West Contra Costa County Sanitary Landfill
dated, June 5, 1990. The invoice documents the receipt and disposal of 178 cubic yards of soil that
originated from the subject site during overexca.vation activities in April, !990.The invoice copy is j
being provided in response to a.request made by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services in
a letter dated, May 13, 1993. The overexcavation activities were briefly described-in a GTI report,
"Work Plan For Site Assessment"dated, September 28, 1990.
If you have any questions or comments, I can be-reached at(510) 842-8695.
Sincerely,
4.711 y
 T'cycichir
