-Report results semi-annually; discontinue reporting potentiometric surface maps
There are consistent data covering six hydrologic cycles available for the subject site. All
information that is portrayed by a potentiometric surface map is already well understood and
documented. The recommended monitoring and reporting program retains the measurement of
groundwater elevation at wells. The pertinent information will still be available without
portraying it on a potentiometric map. A site map with well locations would be furnished in
subsequent reports for reference.
Chevron appreciates your reconsideration of the above. The proposed modifications would result in a
program that allows effective evaluations of groundwater conditions to continue and would provide the
information in the most cost effective manner. Subsequent changes to the proposed program may be
necessary depending on the addition of new wells and/or the evaluation of future results.Pending approval
from your agency, Chevron will implement this proposal immediately.
If you have any questions or comments, I can be reached at(510)842-8695.
Sincerely,
134
Brett L.
