FIRST AID PROCEDURES AND EMERGENCY TREATMENT <br /> In all cases of poisoning, follow standard procedures for poisoning, <br /> first aid, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation . Whenever transporting a <br /> poisoned person to a hospital , bring the container, 1 abel , or other <br /> information concerning the product (without delaying transport) to assist <br /> medical personnel with diagnosis and treatment. Four different routes of <br /> exposure and their respective first aid/poison managements are outlined <br /> below: <br /> Ingestion: <br /> o Dilute the poison by offering and encouraging the person to drink <br /> one or two glassfuls of water or milk. Do not use carbonated <br /> fluids .
