SCOPE. This Addendum No. 1 consists of pages AD1-1 through ADl- 2, <br /> and covers the following modifications and corrections to the "Surface <br /> Impoundment Closure and Post-Closure Plans" document dated February 3, <br /> 1989. <br /> B. PURPOSE. The purpose of this Addendum No. 1 is to incorporate minor <br /> modifications included in the final design documents. <br /> C. CLOSURE PLAN <br /> 1. General Requirements <br /> Page 17. Paragraph f. Revise the last sentence of the first <br /> paragraph to read as follows: <br /> "At least four samples will be taken from each large piece <br /> of mobile equipment and tested using analytical procedures <br /> established by the U.S. EPA and accepted by the California <br /> DHS for one or more of the indicator parameters listed <br /> below. " <br /> Revise the fifth sentence of the second paragraph to read as <br /> follows: <br /> "The following concentrations of indicator parameter will be <br /> used for decontamination verification: <br /> Copper, as Cu 65 ug/l <br /> Total Chromium, as Cr 50 ug/l <br /> Total Arsenic, as As 50 ug/1" <br /> 2. Specific Requirements <br /> Page 36. Paragraph b.2. i. Delete the MCTC response and replace <br /> with the following: <br /> "A filter layer to prevent clogging of the granular drainage <br /> layer is not necessary as the final cover will be asphalt <br /> rather than topsoil. " <br /> AD1-2 <br />
