C . Final RAP. <br /> The RAP has been approved and was released July 10, <br /> 1990. Design work has started on the four operable <br /> units . <br /> D. StormWater Plume Abatement . <br /> I . North Area — A contract has been issued to <br /> Andco Environmental Processes , Inc . , Amherst , <br /> New York for a pilot electrochemical water <br /> treatment plant to treat 150 gpm. This in— <br /> fluent will be made up for 50 gpm each from MW <br /> 213, MW-214 and EW-1 and should have a con— <br /> centration of hexachrome of 15-20 PPM. A new <br /> NPOES permit application is being prepared for <br /> a discharge of 500 gpm to the diverting canal . <br /> Permit application will be submitted by August <br /> 20th for water board approval at the October <br /> 23rd meeting . The Andco system will be in— <br /> dependent of the ion exchange system. The <br /> total system capacity will be 300-350 gpm. <br /> 2. South Area — Work is progressing with the San <br /> Joaquin County Regional Wastewater Control <br /> Facility to allow water to go to the POTW. <br /> Tests requested by the RWCF have been complete <br /> and results submitted . The water has been <br /> accepted and the permit applications are being <br /> prepared . The fees for processing and the <br /> volume of water to be sent to the POTW are <br /> still to be resolved . <br /> E . StormWater Run—Off .
