On 11 April 2013, Nuel and I talked to
you about this report and you mentioned at that time that the report did not adequately
address the vapor intrusion issue for future construction at this site, nor did the report
address the human health risk. After reviewing the historical soil and groundwater
concentrations of benzene, ethyl benzene and TPHg at this site, Nuel and I have
concluded that the report adequately addresses the vapor intrusion issue and the direct
contact and outdoor air exposure issues.
I am preparing a letter concerning other issues in the report that Nuel and I believe need
to be addressed. If you could let me know what exactly needs to be addressed
concerning vapor intrusion and human health risks, I will add your comments to my
letter.
Thank you.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209) 468-9852
Email: vmccartney(cDsicehd.com i
4/22/2013
