Pessler <br /> Chevron Environmental Management Company <br /> Marketing Business Unit <br /> 145 South State College Boulevard, Suite 400 <br /> Brea, California 92821 <br /> Subject: Former Chevron Service Station 9-0557 <br /> 139 South Center Street <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr. Pessler: <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has received a No Further <br /> Action Required Concurrence letter from the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) dated 06 August 2013 for the above-referenced site. The EHD will issue a <br /> closure letter once notification requirements and opportunity for public participation in the case <br /> closure decision process have been completed in accordance with the Low-threat Underground <br /> Storage Tank Case Closure Policy (LTCP) enacted by the State Water Resources Control <br /> Board (State Water Board) on 17 August 2012, all wells have been property destroyed and <br /> waste manifests have been submitted to this agency. <br /> As directed by the LTCP, please notify "municipal and county water districts, water <br /> replenishment districts, special act districts with groundwater management authority, agencies <br /> with authority to issue building permits for land affected by the petroleum release, owners and <br /> occupants of the property impacted by the petroleum release, and the owners and occupants of <br /> all parcels adjacent to the impacted property" of the pending case closure and of their <br /> opportunity to submit comments or questions regarding the pending closure to this agency. <br /> Those to be notified include, but are not limited to: California Water Service Company in <br /> Stockton, City of Stockton Water District, San Joaquin County Public Water Utilities <br /> Maintenance, East Water District, Stockton Community Development Department and Stockton <br /> Public Works Department. Comments should be directed to Vicki McCartney, San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department, 1868 East Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> 95205-6232. Prior to distribution of the letter, please provide a copy of the draft letter to the <br /> EHD for review and comment along with the list of agencies and owners/occupants who will <br /> receive the public participation letter. An example letter is available from the EHD, if requested. <br /> The public will have sixty days to comment. <br /> Concurrent with the public participation period, please provide the EHD certification in writing <br /> that all record owners of fee title to the above-referenced site have been notified of your request <br />
