Box 25948 <br /> Shawnee Mission, KS 66225-5948 <br /> RECOMMENDED MODIFICATIONS TO TOXICITY IDENTIFICATION EVALUATION (TIE) <br /> WORK PLAN <br /> We have reviewed the recommended modifications to the Toxicity Identification Evaluation (TIE) <br /> biomonitoring program for the Marley Cooling Tower Company Stockton facility, submitted 7 <br /> November 1996, prepared by S. R. Hansen and Associates. The proposed modification for studying <br /> the toxicity of the effluent from the Marley water treatment plant is acceptable to meet the <br /> requirements of Section B, item 4, of NPDES Permit No. CA0081787, with one exception. <br /> The enclosed memorandum provides specific comments on the proposed modifications to the TIE <br /> study.
