NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING -2- <br /> MARLEY COOLING TOWER COMPANY <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> designated parties. Such interested persons may request status as a designated party for purposes of <br /> this hearing by submitting such request in writing to the Board no later than 21 February 2003. The <br /> request must explain the basis for status as a designated party and in particular how the person is <br /> directly affected by the discharge. <br /> The tentative Waste Discharger Requirements Order was mailed to known interested parties on <br /> 6 August 2002. A Notice of Public Hearing was previously mailed to known interested parties on <br /> 12 December 2002. The only change from the previous Notice of Public Hearing is the date of the <br /> hearing. Persons that wish to comment and who did not directly receive the tentative Order must <br /> submit such comments in writing to the Regional Board no later than 21 February 2003. All <br /> written comments received by this date will be included in the administrative record for this matter. <br /> Written testimony or comments submitted after 21 February 2003 by persons that did not directly <br /> receive the tentative Orders will not be accepted and will not be incorporated into the administrative <br /> record if doing so would prejudice any party. <br /> All interested persons may speak at the Board meeting, and are expected to orally summarize their <br /> written submittals. Oral testimony will be limited in time by the Board Chair. <br /> Anyone having questions on the proposed adoption of waste discharge requirements for this facility <br /> should contact Sudhakar Talanki at (916) 255-3078 or Jon Ericson at (916) 255-3060. The <br /> proposed item and related documents maybe inspected and copied at the Regional Board's office at <br /> 3443 Routier Road, Suite A, Sacramento, California,weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. by <br /> appointment. <br /> The procedures governing Regional Water Board meetings may be found at Title 23, California <br /> Code of Regulations, Section 647 et seq. and is available upon request. Hearings before the <br /> Regional Water Board are not conducted pursuant to Goverment Code section 11500 et seq.
