A list of respective sample
identifications is included in Table A. Fifty-three (53) primary field samples, seven (7)field duplicates, and
seven (7) field quality control (QC) samples were submitted. The following samples were submitted as
field duplicate pairs:
Duplicate Sample
MW-323 Dup MW-323
MW-9 Dup MW-9
TW-16 Dup TW-16
TW-13 Dup TW-13
MW-321 (1-9) Dup MW-321 (1-9)
MW-102 Dup MW-102
MW-4 Dup MW-4
Samples were analyzed by one or more of the following methods:
• Hexavalent chromium by United States Environmental Protection Agency(USEPA) Method SW7199
• Dissolved arsenic, chromium, copper, iron, and manganese by USEPA Method SW6020
• Sulfate by USEPA Method 300.0
• Total dissolved solids (TDS) by Standard Method SM2540C
• Total organic carbon (TOC) by Standard Method SM5310C
Results were reviewed in accordance with the appropriate methods listed above. In addition, the USEPA
Contract Laboratory Program National Functional Guidelines for Inorganic Data Review (USEPA 2004)
were used to provide overall guidance for the validation process. The data review included an evaluation
of the following QC parameters based on standard performance criteria presented in these documents:
• Analytical Holding Times/Sample Preservation
• Method Blanks, Equipment Rinse Blanks, and Field Blanks
• Laboratory Control Sample/ Laboratory Control Sample Duplicate (LCS/LCSD) Performance
• Matrix Spike/Matrix Spike Duplicate (MS/MSD) Sample Performance
Page 1 of 6
