The site is a former Chevron t <br /> service station located at 139 South Center Street, Stockton, California. <br /> COMPLETED ACTIVITIES - FIRST QUARTER 2003 <br /> • Conducted quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling. <br /> ■ Prepared and submitted quarterly groundwater monitoring report. <br /> • Abandoned monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-4, MW-9, MW-9A, MW-9S, MW-10, MW-11, <br /> MW-12 and ozone sparge wells OS-1 S/1 D through OS-4S/4D. <br /> • Demolished service station and removed gasoline underground storage tanks (USTs). <br /> PLANNED ACTIVITIES - SECOND QUARTER 2003 <br /> ■ Conduct quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling. <br /> ■ Prepare and submit quarterly groundwater monitoring report. <br /> ■ Prepare report of well abandonment, station demolition, and UST removal activities. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The quarterly monitoring and sampling was performed by Gettler-Ryan, Inc. (G-R). This <br /> groundwater monitoring and sampling event was performed on January 3, 4, and 9, 2003. G-R's <br /> groundwater monitoring report is included as Attachment A. Depth to groundwater across the site <br /> ranged from 23.04 to 25.16 feet below ground surface. Groundwater elevation across the site <br /> increased an average of 1.15 feet from the previous sampling event. Groundwater flow was to the <br /> southeast at an approximate gradient of 0.002 to 0.02 ft/ft.
