The OS pilot test
commenced on March 29, 2002. Since startup, OS testing has been performed only using
wells OSAS, OS-1D, OS-2S, OS-213, OS-3D, and OS-4D. Groundwater monitoring and
sampling was performed prior to initiation of OS and approximately monthly thereafter.
Wells within or near the treatment area (MW-1, MW-2, MW-9, MW-9A, MW-9S, MW-10,
and MW-11) were monitored for the following parameters: dissolved oxygen (DO) and
ferrous iron concentrations, pH, and oxidation-reduction potential (ORP). In addition,
groundwater samples were collected and analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons
quantified as gasoline (TPHg), TPH quantified as diesel (TPHd), TPH quantified as motor oil
(TPHmo), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX), and methyl tertiary butyl ether
MtBE Laboratory analytical results and chains-of-custody for the groundwater samples y
collected by SECOR during the period reported herein are presented in Attachment C. Data =,t
sheets for the ozone sparge testing are presented in Attachment D. Groundwater analytical
' results and field monitoring results are presented in Tables 1 and 2, respectively.
