a � <br /> Chevron Groundwater Monitoring Report(2Q2001) Page 2 of 2 <br /> Facility: #9-0557— 139 South Center Street,Stockton,CA Date: July 13,2001 <br /> • <br /> DISCUSSION: <br /> This groundwater monitoring and sampling event was performed by Gettler-Ryan Inc. on May 16,2001. Nine <br /> wells were sampled during this event. TPHg was detected in samples collected from two of the nine wells at <br /> concentrations of 2,200 pg/1 in MW-7 and 30,000 pg/I in MW-9. Benzene was detected in samples collected from <br /> three of the wells at concentrations of 1.9 pg/l in MW-2, 57 pg/I in MW-7, and 2,500 pg/I in MW-9. MtBE was <br /> detected in the sample collected from MW-2 at a concentration of 0.77 pg/l. 1,2-DCA was detected in the samples <br /> collected from wells MW-3,at 2.4 µg11,and MW-4,at 1.3 pg/l. Methanol was also detected in the sample collected <br /> from MW-4 at 54 gg/1. In addition to the fuel oxygenates, full analyses of EPA Method 8260 chemicals were <br /> performed on samples collected from all nine wells. Several additional volatile organic compounds were detected <br /> in samples collected from wells MW-7 and MW-9, which are summarized in Attachment A. Groundwater <br /> elevations across the site increased an average of approximately 0.27 feet this quarter. Groundwater flow was to the <br /> southeast at gradients ranging from 0.001 to 0.003 ft/ft, consistent with historical data. <br /> LIMITATIONS: <br /> The findings presented in this letter are based on data and interpretations provided by Gettler-Ryan, Inc.
