Chevron Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report(2Q2000) Page 2 of 2 Facility: 49-0557— 139 South Center Street,Stockton,CA Date: November 10,2000 DISCUSSION: This groundwater monitoring and sampling event was performed by Gettler Ryan Inc. on May 17,2000. Nine wells were sampled during this event. TPHg was reported in four wells at concentrations ranging from 54.9 ppb in MW-4 to 59,700 ppb in MW-9. Benzene was reported at concentrations of 1.92 ppb in MW-2, 67.1 ppb in MW-7, and 6,070 ppb in MW-9. MtBE was reported as non-detectable in all wells sampled. Groundwater analytical results report an increase in TPHg in MW-4 from the previously reported non-detectable levels and 273 ppb of undetected hydrocarbons in MW-5. Concentrations of hydrocarbons in wells MW-2, MW-7,and MW-9 generally decreased this quarter. Groundwater elevations across the site increased an average of approximately 2.19 feet this quarter. Groundwater flow was to the southeast at 0.002 ft/ft. LIMITATIONS: The findings presented in this letter are based on data and interpretations provided by Gettler-Ryan, Inc.
