The scope of work is designed to further assess the extent of <br /> hydrocarbon impacted soil, and includes the following: <br /> Drill and sample four, on-site, down-gradient soil borings. <br /> Analyze soil samples for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes (BTEX) and <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons-as-gasoline (TPH-G) by Environmental Protection <br /> Agency (EPA) method 5030/8020/modified 8015, <br /> Prepare summary report documenting the results of additional assessment. <br /> The tasks required to complete the scope of work are described below: <br /> TASK 1: SITE-SPECIFIC HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN/BACKGROUND REVIEW/ <br /> PERMITTING <br /> A site-specific Health and Safety Plan has been prepared by Groundwater Technology as required <br /> by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standard "Hazardous Waste <br /> Operations and Emergency Response" guidelines (29 CFR 1910.120). The site-specific Health and <br /> Safety Plan had been prepared by Groundwater Technology personnel, prior to the previous <br /> Offices throughout the U.S.,Canada and Overseas <br />
