Please pro ide calculations of contaminant
mass remaining at this site. On the Tri Regional recommendations, Appendix A-
Checklist of Required Data, Table 1, item#8-"Concentration contours of contaminants
found and those remaining in soil and groundwater, both on-site and off-site", SECOR
makes a notation of NIA but gives no technical justification for why this information would
not be applicable to making a determination of no fu her action required at this site.
Please provide the justification, or the contour map. Also needed is a projection of how
long it will be until the groundwater will return to pre-r elease conditions.
Table 2 of the QMR needs to be corrected for the Second Quarter 2006 results. The
results for the chlorinated hydrocarbons are all repo ed at"0",which is not likely to be
correct. In addition, the trends of rdported chlorinate J hydrocarbons, especially
Trichloroethene, need to be addressed in the closurE report.
Please submit the additional information required as an addendum to the closure report
no later than November 3, 2006. If'you have any questions please tali Lori Duncan at
(209)468-0337.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
Lori Duncan, Senior REHS Nuel C.
