Yes The site work includes approximately 4,000 yds'of excavation behind the <br /> existing seawall,and approximately 2,000 yds'of controlled density fill and concrete fill on the ' <br /> waterside and underneath the existing seawall Clean materials will be graded on-site <br /> Unusable material and debris generated will be disposed off-site in accordance with City and ' <br /> County ordinances <br /> Level of Significance:Not significant <br /> 1' <br /> Mitigation Measures: Building and grading permits are required per the Stockton Municipal <br /> Code(Sec 13-507 A)to ensure compliance with Best Management Practices to prevent <br /> i� storm water pollution during construction activities Several erosion control measures will be <br /> implemented to ensure that surface waters and soil are not discharged into the channel These <br /> �IE include, but are not limited to <br /> a) The amount of bare soil and vegetation disturbed by grading and contouring activities ' <br /> will be minimized to the extent possible in order to minimize fugitive dust emissions <br /> b) All exposed areas that are being graded, including all unpaved roads and parking areas, <br /> will be sprinkled twice daily by a water truck The frequency of watering will be 1 <br /> increased to control dust if wind speeds exceed 15 miles per hour <br /> c) Piles of soil and debris will either be covered with plastic sheeting or tarpaulins, sprinkled <br /> twice per day, and/or covered with an approved soil stabilizer <br /> d) Vehicular speeds on exposed surfaces will be limited to a maximum of 15 miles per hour <br /> � e) Grading will occur when it is not raining <br /> {' f) Sensitive wildlife habitat zones in the protect construction area will be identified The <br /> Stockton Channel is the only sensitive habitat zone in the study area ' <br /> Significance after Mitigation.
